Memorial to Honor Family and Loved Ones

The Sun Up Ridge Memorial wall is located along the scenic North Platte River Parkway which winds its way through Casper, Wyoming. This impressive wall already contains the Wyoming War Dead Memorial in a style similar to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Now, the Sun Up Ridge Memorial will be open to commemorate ordinary people who led ordinary lives, yet who made extraordinary impact by their influence on those of us still living.

Sun Up Ridge MemorialThe Sun Up Ridge Memorial Wall extends about a third of a mile and is, on the average, twelve foot high.  The vertical space between 3 and 8 feet will be used for placing memorial plaques creating an eye pleasing and dignified display of the lives we celebrate.

The wall space above 8 feet will be distinguished with a 1200' mural done by Wyoming high school art students and depicting the fascinating history of Wyoming.

The Wall is located along the newly formed Platte River Parkway, a community resource which takes advantage of the green space and beauty of the river.  This riverside walkway is frequented by local and visiting walkers, joggers, and bicyclists.

The map shows the wall's relation to  the river, the highway, and the Three Crowns Golf Course.  The orange line on the map marks the Memorial Wall location.
